Welcome! I am Annie, and I am a Vancouver area family & newborn photographer. Choosing a family photographer can be difficult, since there are so many different types photographers to choose from!

A few things to help you make your decisions easier. Here are 3 tips on choosing a family photographer.

1. Photographer style

Do you like this photographer’s style? Does their creative vision resonate with you? My style is natural, genuine, and true to life. I help guide my families and create opportunities for them to have genuine interactions. No stiff posing or looking at the camera, and no need to wrangle smiles out of little ones.

2. Pricing and packages

Some photographers offer different pricing packages for different amounts of photos. I offer an all-inclusive package, meaning you get all the best images I choose from our session! All my images are also delivered in black & white versions! I am a sucker for black & white images, and I want everyone to have these.

3. Relatability

Can you see yourself in their work? Could that be your family exploring the beaches? Every image the photographer presents is a good clue to see if your family will be a good fit. Some photographers are great with perfectly posed and polished family portraits, some are more adventurous. I am a laid back photographer and the families that book me are also very easy going. My work resonates with them because we are both laid back, easy going, and fun loving!
