Different photographers will offer different packages, pricing, and some even offer client wardrobe! I am here to help you decide if I am the right photographer for you. Let’s see how much family photos cost in Vancouver!
These are often offered as mini sessions, session length between 10-30 minutes. The photographers can be new to the scene or seasoned photographers offering smaller sessions. You’ll usually receive a small amount of images anywhere from 5-20 images. Some will offer additional images for additional fee. Mini sessions can take place in studio or outdoors. These sessions are idea for you if your kids are calm, and will cooperate for a few quick snaps.
You’ll find a lot of family photographers in this price range. Many offering 30-60 minute sessions on location, in studio, and in your own homes. You’ll likely get a larger gallery from 20-100 digital files! These are perfect for families who want more photos, you’ll get a variety of fun images and a longer time with your photographer.
If you are ready to invest in some beautiful family photos, you can find photographers offering 1-2 hour sessions that will include an impressive gallery! Some photographers offer packages that include all the best images, some will offer a preview gallery for you to choose your favourites. There are photographers who have a client wardrobe, so you don’t need to worry about purchasing another outfit. Photographers may also offer additional printed photos, albums, or canvases. Locations can be both outdoors and in studio. Many photographers will offer styling assistances to take the stress off wardrobe planning.
Now that you know the different price ranges and different types of photo sessions that are offered! Here are some things to keep in mind when you’re booking a family photographer:
One last note about the length of session. I offer one hour sessions because it allows kids and adults to warm up! Some kiddos are shy and nervous at the beginning of the session. If we have a full hour to take photos, they usually warm up by the first 20 minutes, and we also have time to accommodate meltdowns and even take a snack break. Mini sessions tends to be even more stressful because you want and need your kids to stay perfect for your 10 minute time slot. A longer session will give you different moments and you’ll feel more relaxed!
