Thinking about booking a newborn photo session?

Are you expecting or recently became a new parent? Congratulations! This is such an exciting time, but it is also very hectic. Being a new parent is daunting and overwhelming at the same time. Booking a newborn photo session may not even be on your mind as you try to navigate taking care of a new baby.

If you’ve finally decided to document your new and growing family, I can help you plan a laid back photo session!

When to book a newborn photo session?

You can book your session before or after you have delivered your baby! I suggest booking beforehand so you can pay your deposit, read my newborn prep guide, and ask any questions you may have.

What happens after my baby arrives?

Yay! You must be tired and feeling overwhelmed with joy. Once you are home and feeling a bit more settled, reach out to me via email and we can schedule a daytime session at your home for photos.

What days are available for in-home sessions?

Most in-home newborn sessions take place on weekday mornings 10-11 AM. I also have limited weekend dates available.

Can we take photos at 1 month old?

This all depends on mom and dad’s comfort level. Sometimes labour recovery takes longer than expected, or maybe you’re simply too tired for photos. Newborn photos can be taken anywhere from few days old to 1-2 months old! A week old baby will look tiny and precious, a month old baby will be more alert and expressive! Both are perfect times to document.

I think the newborn stage passes by so quickly, it is so important to capture some memories before they grow up!
