Vancouver weather is so unpredictable and if you don’t have the flexibility of rescheduling due to rain then I would suggest booking a session in your home. No need to trek outside in our frigid winters, instead we can cozy up by the fireplace and drink hot chocolate!

Your home is where memories are made. Little nooks where the kids love to hide in, hallways where your kids took their first steps, furniture and decor that showcase your unique family. Your personality can come through when we use your home as the backdrop for your next family photo session.

Kids love playing in their home.

If your child is a homebody like me, then photos in the home could be perfect! Not everyone likes to explore the great outdoors. Some kids are more comfortable in their home, reading their books, and playing with their toys. These can be beautiful memories for families to treasure.

Sessions are laidback and mellow.

If you are seeking a calm and mellow session, photos in your home could be the perfect fit. I love to start the session with everyone cozied up on the couch or bed. Then we’d get the whole family reading their favourite storybook. Some kids love to show me their toys, jump on their beds, or play a song on the piano. There are no shortage of calming activities around the house.

Messy home? No problem.

One of the major concerns when we book an in-home family photo session is the disarray in your home. your home doesn’t need to be spotless, but we should dedicate a few spots for the photo. The living room, kids room, and the master bedroom are 3 of my top choices when it comes to in-home sessions. We can tidy up these main areas, I’ll help hide the clutter behind a couch!
